Is it better to train with wood?

i personally think its better to train with wood because the ball is more true off the bat then it is off a aluminum bat. with wood there is a smaller sweet spot, while the sweet spot on a metal bat is pretty much the whole barrell. so with wood you'll never get cheated thinking you put a good cut on the ball. i've switched to training with wood and i seem to have more power and a true swing. i use wood for batting practice and hitting live unless i am in a game where they allow metal and pre-game bp on the field.
